The Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Consecration of Russia in The Message of Fatima

This paper concerns the inadequate interpretation and serious underestimation of the importance of the Fatima promises and warnings in the Vatican’s The Message of Fatima published on 26 June 2000. It critically analyzes:

1) The treatment there of the 1st and 2nd parts of the Secret of Fatima;

2) The significance of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Consecration of Russia and the First Saturday reparatory devotions; 

3) The importance of Consecrating Russia by herself, alone;

4) Past and future consequences for the salvation of souls, the Church and the world of failing to attend to  the Consecration of Russia by itself, alone, and the First Saturday reparatory devotions; and

5) The proximate, conditional Chastisement if Heaven's warnings and requests remain unheeded.
